from the run up to the initial release and onwards!
The first poster, inspired by Noir film posters from back in the day! These posters reference facebook but I’ve long since left that site! The red behind Lestera should have really been magenta to fit in with the series aesthetic, hindsight is 20/20 though!
The second poster released before the series release date, this one references the poster for the film Dracula (1931).
The third poster before the launch, this one references the poster for the film Frankenstein (1931). I still struggle even now with keeping Colins design consistent!
The fourth and final poster to promote the series before release. As much as I liked the Universal Monster reference posters (I was going to do another with Mandy using The Mummy), I realised they probably didn’t best represent the actual series! Still fun to make though! So this one was more pop-arty, with a little bit of character lore!
Tapas updated their system so each series needed a “book cover” instead of just a square thumbnail, so I knocked this up! I really enjoy drawing without lines and I still like some parts of this.
A promotional piece made to celebrate hitting 100 pages of the webcomic! The cans were an absolute nightmare at the time but I’m glad I put the effort in now!
